What age groups does HJFC cater to?

We welcome players from Pre-Primary through to Year 12, including dedicated female teams from Year 3/4 to Year 11/12.
HJFC also offers the Starkick All Abilities Program for Pre-Primary – Year 12.

Where is the club located?

Sutherlands F Reserve, Corner of Gay & Balfour Streets, Huntingdale, WA

Can my child join if they’ve never played before?

Absolutely! No experience is required — we provide a fun and safe environment for all skill levels.

How do I register my child to play?

Registrations are completed via PlayHQ. Links are provided on our website and social media during the registration period.

What are the registration fees?

Fees vary by age group and will be charged during registration from January 1.

Multiple ways to pay are available including Credit Card, PayPal, PayPal in 4, Apple Pay and Google Pay!

If you have a valid Health Care Card, you may be eligible for a Kidsport Voucher to go towards fees for the upcoming season.  Please ensure that you have your approved Voucher Code before registering

Training & Game Days

When and where are training sessions held?

Training days vary by team and are confirmed after registrations and team allocations.
All training sessions are held at Sutherlands F Reserve.

What days are games played?

Competition teams (Year 3 – Year 12) have weekly fixtured home and away games.

Uniforms & Equipment

What gear does my child need?

  • Football boots
  • Mouthguard (essential from Year 3)
  • Club shorts and socks (compulsory — available from the club)

Optional club merchandise is also available for purchase.  Check out our online Store for all available products.

Where can I buy club merchandise?

Merchandise can be purchased through our club store www.huntingdale-junior-football-club.square.site/s/order or on selected training nights.
Please note - Merchandise is not available for purchase on weekends.

Parent & Volunteer Information

How can I get involved as a volunteer or coach?

We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers! You can apply for Coaching or Committee roles via the nomination forms on our website.

Do I need a Working with Children Check (WWCC)?

All Coaches and Team Managers are required to hold a valid WWCC, as per WA guidelines.
Weekly parent roster helpers do not require a WWCC.

Does HJFC offer female-only teams?

Yes! We proudly offer female teams from Year 3/4 to Year 11/12 and are committed to growing our female football program.

Can girls play in mixed teams?

Yes, girls can play in mixed teams until the year they turn 14.

How does the club communicate with parents?

We stay in touch via email and social media. Be sure to follow us and join your team’s communication channel for updates.

Who do I contact for general enquiries?

Please note, if you intend to use a Kidsport voucher to apply to Club Fees
